Throughout 2021 and 2022 we have travelled to various remote communities to undertake ground investigations for new lighting around the community sports oval. The investigations typically involve test pits excavated by a backhoe from the local community, insitu testing and NATA accredited soils testing. The communities are as far flung as Hermannsburg in the Central Desert Region, Kalkarindji in the Victoria River Region, Yirrkala in Arnhemland and Angurugu on Groote Eylandt.
